Pre-natal Yoga

Our pre-natal yoga classes are specifically designed for pregnancy. Our teachers have all furthered their prenatal yoga training and importantly teach from experience – they are all mamas 🙂

You can expect a range of hatha yoga poses which will aim to build both strength and openness to carry you through your journey of pregnancy. Poses, or asanas, are also aimed at increasing flexibility in the hips and pelvis, along with a major focus on the importance of breath. The synchronisation of breath and movement is such an important preparation for child birth… and motherhood. We also encourage time to connect to the changes going on in your body and to start building a stronger connection with your bubba throughout the class.

Dini found her way into yoga and meditation when studying at university for an international career of change and development in Queensland. She has been teaching for 15 years and, since becoming a mother in 2011, also works as a Doula and Ayurvedic Practitioner. She is expecting her third boy in 2015 and has therefore returned from three years of living aboard her boat with her family, sailing the Mediterranean Sea and teaching yoga retreats worldwide. After many years working for grass-rout organizations in South-America and China, a one-year contract with the UN in Geneva and subsequent intents to change Sydney’s corporate world towards more sustainability and consciousness, she is now focusing purely on creating change from within in her holistic and balanced yoga classes, workshops and retreats in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, as well as around the globe: Vinysasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Partner/Acro-Yoga and Pre- & Post-natal. Her motto: If you can dream it, you can do it. And yoga is a priceless tool to help along the way.
